Yesterday I had the privilage to do an engagement session with a beautiful couple. Mark and Victoria are from North Dakota and came to Denver to go to the Sigur Ros concert. Since I will be photographing their wedding later this summer it worked out for us to do the Engagement photos here in Colorado. We chose to do the shoot next to the Red Rocks Ampitheater. It was a beautiful day and they were an amazing couple to work with. I am excited for their wedding. I would like to thank my team (Darren and Sara McCarthy) with out them I would have to carry my own gear ;) I really appreciate them (and they do a whole lot more than just carry stuff) Enjoy the photos and please leave a comment.Trout Engagement (2 of 24) Trout Engagement (18 of 24) Trout Engagement (17 of 24) Trout Engagement (15 of 24) Trout Engagement (14 of 24) Trout Engagement (13 of 24) Trout Engagement (10 of 24) Trout Engagement (9 of 24) Trout Engagement (7 of 24) Trout Engagement (6 of 24) Trout Engagement (5 of 24) Trout Engagement (3 of 24)

They are awesome. Good job Ted & Darren & Sara!

I love these pics. For some reason, the simplicity of the black and white one of the couple standing in the road really caught my eye. And the one where they are sitting in the field…lovely. Such great shots!

Nice images . . . if I can say something w/o sounding too critical . . . Victoria is lovely but the shots would have looked better if she were dressed more casual like Mark. The ruffles and heels did not fit with the location. And I have to say, just a personal preference of course, I have never liked the ‘jump shots’. My favorite shot is the third shot sitting in the field. Would have loved it more if it were a bit tighter, cropped just below the sky.

You do a beautiful job . . .
